Christmas-day shooting with my mum. This is her Larp-character Ardea Cinerea. We made most of the costume together, though she did the embroidery.
Slowly, I am learning how to use my Camera. These are quite flawed, but I like the mood in these two Portraits of Elrian Tirithien, my Larp character. Almost every part of the costume is self-made. Thanks to Yumi for assisting me.
“A promise that must not be broken.“ This is yet another page in the diary of my elven larp character, Elrian. It’s based on a scene that occurred on the Epic Empires 2015.
With the warm robes for my mage character almost done I have started to plan the rest of the costume. I have acquired a nice vougue pattern I will use for this project. Fort the robes I plan to work with paint and stencils as well as embroidery. Both will be mostly tone in tone…
I have started piecing together the mage robes I have been working on. The lining is still missing, and it does really not fit my mannequin, but you can already see where this is going. Look here for the concept and details of the embroidery work: https://elbenstern.wordpress.com/2015/01/05/mage-robes-in-progress/
I’m working on a Design for an elven robe embroidery pattern. And since I cannot use more than one Design I might as well commit them to the Internet. Feel free to use them if you like.
My shift for the watch this year was early in the morning, at a time where all the nightcrawlers are long gone and the early birds have not yet risen. In other words: Nothing happened in this watch. So to keep boredom away we took a harp with us and took turns making music and watching….
Elrian in Full Armor just before the Final Battle. The Photo was taken by Jens Pönisch and edited by myself.
I am digging through old Photographs of my elven Larp character. This was in 2009. I still like it, and so I did a new retouch on it. I still have the robe and I am planning to make some alterations to it so it will fit my quality standard and the current character concept…
Since Elrian now has a new Surname I started to add the crest of house Tirithion to her costume. And to everything else. This is also the first time I used this really old silver yarn. It looks great, but gets torn all the time.
