  • Elven Designs

I’m working on a Design for an elven robe embroidery pattern. And since I cannot use more than one Design I might as well commit them to the Internet. Feel free to use them if you like.

  • Going back

I am digging through old Photographs of my elven Larp character. This was in 2009. I still like it, and so I did a new retouch on it. I still have the robe and I am planning to make some alterations to it so it will fit my quality standard and the current character concept […]

  • Tirithion Crest

Since Elrian now has a new Surname I started to add the crest of house Tirithion to her costume. And to everything else. This is also the first time I used this really old silver yarn. It looks great, but gets torn all the time.

  • Valacirca

I am working on a pair of banners to cover up the Nordisk-logo on my tent. They are made of silk satin, which I painted and then started to hand embroider.

It’s mostly influenced by the Orlesian ball gowns featured in Dragon Age Inquisition. It also has an animal theme: A black Swan.

  • Elven Winter

Or almost spring. A friend of mine and I took the chance and had some photos taken of our characters Imrath and Elrian. Photo taken my Daniel Schmitt.

  • A Minstrel’s Dress

And done! No one will ever notice all those glass beads on the skirt… The waistcoat alone took an eternity to make, but I am quite happy how it turned out.

  • Simple Elven Tunic

Today I finished the Satin tunic I started a few weeks ago. I have loads of robes and stuff, but I had only one basic tunic until now. The Tunic fits me far better than the dummy, so naturally its looks a bit weird on the photo

  • Sewing… six days left

Four days have passed with me virtually doing nothing. Or at least nothing to finish the garments I need in August. At least I started almost everything by now. The first robe I started a while back (blue cotton satin), but my sewing machine suddenly decided I would take no more silver yarn… and the […]
